    Yoga, to me, is a way to connect deeply with each other through a shared practice, to ground and give yourself the time to quieten and disconnect from the noise of our everyday lives.

    My name is Charlotte, and I have been practising yoga for over six years. I graduated as a Hatha yoga teacher in Amorgos, Greece, in 2021.

    In my self-practice, I like to explore the branches of vinyasa and yin.

    When it comes to teaching, I love to adapt the practice to suit the feeling and energy of the class at that very moment.

    Through practice, learning, and knowing, we are capable of so much more than we truly know while honouring our individual bodies.

    Walking away from the mat feeling lighter… clearer… and cleansed and hopefully taking the teachings of the true essence of yoga into our daily lives and sharing it with the world.

    To look at, I’m not your typical SPA Stew, and that’s made my journey to my dream career a little bumpier.

  • Absolutely! When you join us, there’s no need to worry about where you will sleep or what you will eat.

    Relax and get comfy at Las Casas del Camino Real, and enjoy healthy, fresh, tasty vegetarian meals, all included.

  • Yes! Upon your course completion, you’ll be awarded a Deep Release Massage Course Certification from Solstice by the Spa Stew and accredited by the WMF (World Massage Federation).

    Some days later you will receive via email certification from the World Spa Organization.

    Both certificates are recognised and valid to work in the superyacht industry.

  • The Deep Release Massage Retreat is scheduled from the 13th to the 19th of October 2024.

    This falls between the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons, which, for those already working on super yachts, is the best time of year to take leave and upskill.

  • The full cost of the retreat, including 7 days (6 nights) at Las Casas del Camino Real and all meals, is 1950 USD for shared room, and 2150 USD for Private Room. This can be split into 2, 3 or 4 payments.

    If you’re already employed on a superyacht, you may be able to utilise a training budget.

    This may not be specified in your contract, as Captains will typically assess each case individually.

    Since massage is a highly valued skill, there’s great potential to acquire these new skills at no or greatly reduced cost.

    I recommend briefly discussing this with your captain and sending them a letter for training payment approval. I’ve even created a handy template to download here (link).
